>medically necessary procedures refused due to weight
Sorry, in this litigious modern society a doctor could get sued for malpractice and lose everything when some feeder widower hires a lawyer.
I absolutely understand them not taking the chance. I feel for heavier people, but once you're over 500 or so, you cannot expect society to accommodate you everywhere. At that point you've become extraordinary and there simply isn't the infrastructure to support all the changes necessary. It's like asking for a third restroom for some special gender-feeling person who wants to be catered to specifically. We just can't do it. Until a significant portion of the population becomes morbidly obese like Wall-E level -and I hope it never comes- we just have to keep doing weight and dimensional math based on normal human sizes.
