>How often do the Xenoblade Chronicles' games actually go on sale?
I don't think it's very regularly, I had a friend recently say the biggest thing that's held him off playing 2 is he's only ever seen it at full price. Was funny timing, since it's on sale now.

It really is a special game. Pyra comes across as just a standard nice, kind girl throughout the game, as a contrast to Mythra who's abrasive and arrogant and we have a bit of an inkling why. It's not until the end where you finally understand them and understand just how deep that pain runs.
There's so many amazing touches in 2's story that show just how much depth there is if you dig in even a little bit. Like right off the top of my head-
>Mythra being so furious with Rex after the Vandham thing because his inability to solve things meant she had to essentially break the promise she'd made to seal herself away. Even as abrasive and as fearful as she is, she still couldn't let him be hurt/die
>That moment where Rex throws away his "promise of a lifetime" because he realises it's standing between him and Pyra/Mythra
>The way Rex's biggest fear for Nia was that he'd hurt her by focussing on Pyra and Mythra so much
>Along with that, the way Rex tried to talk to Nia about her confession and set things right, only for her to say they'd do so after everything was over
>Pyra and Mythra just wanting to know why they existed so they could ask if it was alright for them to die
>Instead, they're told that Blades exist to help humans. They're not and were never weapons.
>Mythra finally letting down her guard enough to tell the whole world "I'm Rex's Blade!"
>Nia coming out of the dream/gauntlet/test in her Blade form and immediately looking at Rex
