As much as I hate that fucking everything is more expensive these days, online gaming is infinitely improved by paywalling broke nigger faggots and third worlders. Used games and piracy both fall into this category with very limited exceptions.

In the long term, filtering out poor adults and children without access to money will also improve online discussion about the hobby. Any price whining can easily be dismissed as poorfaggotry.

I never wanted gaming to be a rich man's hobby, I doubt any of us did, but the truth is that rich (white) men are infinitely more preferable than what infests gaming today. Correlation does not equal causation of course, but I am more than happy to put the theory to the test. We all know the truth deep down.
