I mean, yeah, Yume Nikki is a game Toby has been pretty open about being inspired by, and it's visible in Deltarune in a few places already. As a game, Yume Nikki is 99% just vibes, though, so I don't get the point in trying to draw connections between specific characters for theorycrafting or something.
