Nah it looks good, what you posted isn't comic book art, it's western fantasy art. You see that on toy packaging, video game packaging, rock/metal music albums etc.

The other one is prototypical 90s "comic book art", heavily stylized, dramatic and dynamism taking precedent over realism, deep shadows, thick lining, "rule of cool"
