your statement is literally a value of enlightment. you believe critical thinking is better than faith because you have been taught that due your culture being under the ideas of enlightment. yet, you have faith in these same ideas. you need to understeand that almost everything you know it has been taught to you and you have faith on those things, not because you know it in first hand but because they have been inculted in you. you cannot being totally dependent of though because your ideas have been built before you, and you didn't make them, is more like a legacy
