The way I see it Ian fixed Sonic. It's stupidly inconsistent to have a character claim to care about freedom and choice not only force Erazor to grant wishes against his will but imprison him in his lamp forever. Sounds like Ian gets what Sonic is supposed to be about more than Maekawa
