That is simply not true and i would know since i have almost 700 hours in DS2. Shield builds are pretty common for PvE and fat builds that slowroll relly on the ability to facetank one or two hits. I even used to post my builds here on /v/ in the post your character DS2 threads just to prove all the crybabies that adaptability is a meme stat that you don't need.
