Hello,
I'm new to the game and just trying out the free stuff that I see from things like TFT. I also got some emotes for pride month etc since I got 100 free Blue Essence from watching the Spirit Blossom thingy.

I'm looking for recommendations as to what sort of characters to save up my currency for. Right now I'd like to just stick to a group of 3 characters with similar sort of jobs, roles, archetypes, whatever they're called. I have extensively played Dota 1 but that was years ago. Some more about me:
>i'm older, but not old, i'd prefer not to have burnout by having to play someone that requires 19 clicks a second
>i'd like characters that can do multiple things and aren't shoe-horned into one thing, though im willing to 'tunnel vision' if it produces results
>lots of people i've seen online just sort of handwave with responses like "play what you want d00d just try things out d00d haha just enjoy the game d00d" but i also know that league has like 1,400,000,090 videos about it and everyone says something different so i'd rather hear advice from people who can call me a faggot than someone who just has toxic positivity
>side note: i find briar extremely interesting and i played ghoul a lot in OG dota, i'd like to at least have one of the 3 characters be her

Any other recommendations for the other 2 champions, characters that have rather straightforward, (easy to execute™) abilities, and can sort of fit into a lot of team compositions without much difficulty? I don't mind melee or range, but for melee I do like a sort of "One of us is going to fucking die if I go in, its on YOU to outplay ME" sort of characters.
