I like that this thread has at least 3 different parties all talking back and forth at one another who all think the others are retards and who keep confusing one another for the others.

I think it breaks down to
A - the Omens are separate from the Crucible. The Dung Eater is a madman.
B - the Omens are connected to the Crucible. The Dung Eater is a madman.
C - the Omens are connected to the Crucible. The Dung Eater is linked to the Fell God who is linked to the Crucible and he wants to spread the Omen condition to everyone

The last one I'm less sure about because that guy is incoherent most of the time, but I think that is the gist.
