I think they might, depending on circumstances.
If they were banished in Equestria and something like what happens in Equestria at War happened, where they just were stuck in the ocean trench for a thousand years seething - they, or at least Adagio or Aria, would probably be kind of nettled.
Pic related is Equestria at War's spin on Adagio taking over the entire world after the Dazzlings take Equus(so all of the Changeling lands, all of Equestria, and everything else on the continent) and an argument breaks out between Aria and Adagio leading to a variety of different possibilities in the story:
>Adagio leaving Aria and Sonata because Sonata intervening if her influence is high enough and Aria's is higher than Adagio's but not as high as Sonata's, and Sonata wins the argument and wants to run Sirenalia as a more benevolent magocracy instead of a tyrannical magocracy or hyper-planned out surveillance state like Adagio and Aria respectively
>Aria and Sonata leaving Adagio to run the show alone if their influence is low and Adagio's is the highest
>Aria and Adagio leaving Sonata if their influence is low and hers is high, leaving it up to Sonata to finish the job(oh no)
>Sonata and Adagio both leaving Aria if her influence is the highest and she stands her ground in the argument; Sonata leaves in the background while they are busy arguing, and Adagio...

(from the in-game event)
>No one would ever be quite sure why. It could have been that she knew Aria had the upper hoof.
>Or perhaps it was simply the timing of the argument.
>Only Sonata showed shock, however, as the siren bitterly looked away. Aria was far too composed to display her surprise so publicly.
>"Now, as we were saying," she continued firmly. "We still have plenty to deal with before we can think about going after the rest of the world. While I lead things, I'll still need you two to-"
>"Us?" Adagio laughed strangely. Usually, there was at least some sort of emotion to it, whether it be genuine amusement or dark malice. This had none of that. It was just... empty.
>"Why would I do anything for you?"
>"Because we're a team?"
>"And what gave you that impression?" Aria had turned to put her full attention on Adagio, who was still looking away.
>"If you want to lead, go ahead. But don't expect me to follow. I have better things to do than watch you ruin everything we've done."
>And in the next second, she was gone.
>Aria didn't look impressed. "So stubborn," she said, turning back. "Right, Sonata?"
>There was no response. "Sonata?"
>She was alone.
>The blue siren had left while she wasn't even looking.
>Figured.
>Well, if that was how things had to be, then that was how it had to be. There was no time for regret, no time for second guesses.
>Only what needed to be done.
>"Fine, I'll do it myself."
>(she becomes very paranoid and begins to make a surveillance state)
