Yeah, really sucks coming out of losing a group I had for 5 years

Ultimately it was because my value in making stories exceeded my burden, and so when I stopped DMing our rpg stuff I was eventually cast out for calling a member with a moustache "He" instead of she when he posted his face, where normally I'd have been tolerated saying things that clashes with their beliefs.

It's all give and take, even frivolous stuff like a discord RPG. Ultimately it's on me as well for tolerating such degeneracy because I didn't have other "friends"
