Do you think we will LOSE in the weird route?
Genocide had an ending where the player "won", the player and Chara erased the world and the two of you decide to move onto the next game, or you sell your soul to Chara and eternally replay undertale until you are satisfied. Either way, the player wins.
You can argue if it is a hollow victory, but we got what we wanted, we got to see what'd happen if we killed everyone and we erased the world.
