also Kris possibly drawing K+S on the Diner window and Susie triggering "Kris flags" by touching his knife or telling him her backstory for the piano and wanting to learn. They have many special moment that is just not comparable to Suselle which has nothing other than awkward conversations. In chapter 4, Susie literally even says "I wish Kris was here" when she ran out of things to say.

Kris is a messed up wreck tormented by trauma. Same way as Noelle as he probably blame himself for her death. Asgore is trying to do something to help Kris and to make him happy and normal again and is willing to work with Carol and neglect Toriel for it. Susie being from orphanage and messed up parents might be the most non broken here
