It was just a random midrange(?) pick that supports AM5 for the 9800, though I guess it was almost as expensive as the CPU itself
Getting the computer running was actually a bit of a bitch, I had to reset the CMOS to even make it work. The 870 boards come with a handy "Reset CMOS" button on the back though, which makes me wonder if they knew ahead of time. Could be worse I guess
