> Well I guess it's about time we got this tournament on the started. You've all waited patiently and without further delay we will get to the first match of the day.
>In the north corner, a young elf by the name of Esquies Drath who hails from a farm. His life there was not for him though so he sought a life of soldiering. His journey has brought him here, to the Arena, where he must face off against Joseph Merrick a gigantic elephant man who, although unarmed, unarmored, and unskilled he is much larger than his elven opponent.
anons:
>>My money is on the elf. If he dodges well enough, the big guy should bleed fast, and pass out before he can land a blow.

>The fighters get ready in their respective corners and the bell is sounded. Esquies begins by taking off his copper breastplate?

>Joseph doesn't hesitate and charges straight for the elf.

>Esquies is in a panic and dodges around Joseph's swings. Now in position he begins swinging with his sword. A stab to the right leg brings the giant down.

>Esquies now standing over his opponent goes to work slashing and stabbing his opponent. Joseph taking every blow reaches out and grabs his opponent's foot. In one last act of defiance he snaps Esquies' ankle, sending the elf to the floor just as he lands a savage blow to the elephant man's midsection.

>With Joseph now incapacitated the Esquies swinging wildly at his head until finally it is little more than a pile of red paste.

>Esquies is the victor of match 1A and advances. His manager now has 222 points to spend on him.
