Does it have to strike a perfect balance between being popular enough to maintain interest in this general, but not so popular that it sees any kind of success off-site?
Is anything that becomes too popular categorized as slop automatically regardless of its quality?
Do you know how many niche communities like this one have fanfics and new art being churned out on a regular basis, and multiple games being developed for them?
Not fucking many.
I think a lot of people here just have an attitude problem.
