Starting a campaign soon, based on one slight change to history, that Anakin failed at landing half a ship, so no Vader, no Palpatine, and no Obi Wan. The CIS "won" the Clone Wars, and 200 years later the galaxy has shifted from independent planets to mostly stable interstellar governments. The Jedi Order split up after the Republic government was dissolved, several of these regions are home to splinter groups, some joined up with other Force traditions like the Jensaarai or Nightsisters, there's also several darksider traditions out there.
