They kind of had to rush the buildup for those scenes like that cutscene where Vivian was about to die (I felt nothing watching it) to further promote and sell the characters. 1.4's story also felt kind of rushed now that I think about it.

I need to stop being fixated on gacha stories and just turn my brain off.
