China's birth rate has completely collapsed to South Korean or lower levels since the Covid lockdowns. If you think young people in the west are screwed over and disaffected, you have no idea how bad it is in China. This won't solve anything because the problem is systemic and stems from a total lack of faith in the future of the country and the desire of a large part of the populace to leave.
