lmao boring. the game is far better than 90% of souls clones where you press one button to dodge and then square to win the game. then you have to deal with some abstracted rpg system. Watching Lies of P after playing this makes you realize how boring souls clones were getting. It makes complete sense to integrate DMC style fighting games into souls likes and this game does it well. because otherwise people will just get bored of them. even squaresoft figured this out with FFXVI

the Ninja Gaiden community have had this right since day one, everything should be in service to the gameplay and combat, a one hit kill mage build you can get if you follow x, y, z steps isn't good gameplay. cheesing bosses isn't good gameplay. reading a guide before you even play the game so you know what to do isn't good gameplay
