Silent Hill was always more melee focused than Resident Evil and SH4 already took the Silent Hill out of the franchise and it was always Team Silent's plans that future entries would take place anywhere but the town itself although SH4 still had a connection to the town through its main antagonist and you even briefly visit Toluca Lake at some point. It doesn’t look like this one is even trying to be connected at all but maybe it will be another Miranda from RE8 situation.

The only thing I’m worried about is their claim that it’s going to be even MORE action focused than SH2R which I will never for the life of me understand why everyone praises so much because of how utterly repetitive the combat is in that game which is just an objective fact. I don’t even think action is incompatible with horror like many people online seem to do I’m just worried it’ll be even more repetitive making it just boring instead especially since it looks like it's entirely melee focused but for a game that's clearly not trying to be Ninja Gaiden.
