These have far less bass than either of those so you might find them too anemic. You can just EQ more bass if you want but stock those lack impact. Great imaging, though.

He's right. You won't get either good THD performance or perfect tuning at that price point. This isn't audiophoolery, check the measurements of those Beyers and compare with something from DCA.
