Ralsei's thing is that he has only existed for a little while for the purpose of the prophecy and for the purpose of the prophecy only, which is why he has such big issues about having a personality, hobbies or relationships
Considering how Darkners all have histories and personalities tied to the objects that they were I think Ralsei must have been custom-built to fit the Prince from the Dark role and isn't some normal everyday item from Kris's history, especially since we know a lot of the chapter 1-3 Darkners are just that
