It depends. A lot of people who were conquered by Europeans went through some really hard times, but ultimately their lives ended up being much better off with the technological advancements. Slavery was an awful practice, but the alternative would be still living in Africa.

In terms of modern mass migration, this is not a conquering. This is our own elite establishments purposefully bringing in millions of incompatible peoples (against the overwhelming will of the native population) with the EXPLICIT goal of devaluing the labor markets.
