As a draw-fag, it was kind of inevitable and a slow rolling train wreck that had been coming for a long time now. Between 3rd worlders able to undercut all competition with artists in countries that have a higher GDP and AI, it is what it is. Although I think SFW is kinda fucked. Butt, I think the NSFW scene will survive still. Oddly enough, and it's kind of a double edged sword, but coomers and fappers actually appreciate "art" if we can call it that. Far more than the average normie ever will. There is something unique and special about a non-perfectly drawn image. The concept of the perfect within the imperfect. The sad thing I see more is this will kill industry jobs, and that was already bad enough with outsourcing to other countries. I'm not mad at AI users, hell I use it myself for generic coom I don't see. But it's weird the vitriol they have for draw-fags, which idk if it's trolling or just anger at commissions, cus not everyone who draws has good business sense to do commissions. (I know I don't, I dragged my feet, and offered a full refund and the image free) I am more motivated to draw what I want to draw, unless I get a strange spark of inspiration to fill a request on one of the draw-threads and even then, I feel shameful for asking for a donation to ko-fi or something.
