My M9 "Special Edition" is one of my favorite guns in my collection:

>very first run of commercial M9s Beretta sold in the late 90s
>all parts are marked with the part number and/or cage code, exactly like the USGI parts minus the addition of a "C" stamp (for "commercial")
>slide is "P M" proof marked
>guide rod, trigger, safety selector, and mag release assembly are STEEL (not plastic)
>came in a cool box with lots of accessories (if you google it you will see pics)
The only difference between this and the USGI M9 is the serial number format and the slide having the stylized "(PB)" whereas the USGI slides have "(PB)" in an Arial type font.
