I've been trying to learn the bugs at level 1 with no relics or abilities and starting gear only. I've gotten the hang of the 1st phase, though the charge attack proves to be tricky since I still can't reliably dodge it 100% of the time without getting clipped by at least one soul arrow and the magic AoE sometimes screws me up. In the 2nd phase I can either play it like the regular bugs 1st phase with the occasional beam attack and punish Animus at the end or I can avoid both bugs and punish Animus after every red light attack which is probably even more boring. In the best case scenario I can get 6 hits on Animus.
