Today I learned retards like OP think software is magic and that the latency between swiping and the receipt printing is arbitrary.

Are you European?
Anyway yes that's a normal American salary. It's actually lower mid tier in my opinion. Like that is what I'd expect for a few years experience at a white collar job in a medium cost of living location.
The downside that's not mentioned to these high salaries is:
1. Health insurance costs a decent amount and doesn't necessarily cover everything on basic plans.
2. Homes are priced pretty high for some dog shit quality
3. Public transportation outside of major cities (and even in some major cities) sucks major major cock of it exists at all, so you'll need to own a car, drive everywhere, and have a place to park it
4. Our food includes many things that are banned by Europe
5. Our guaranteed federal holidays+ time off + maternity/paternity leave is a mere fraction of what Europeans get
That all said it's a fair trade-off for many to make. Especially as you go higher level the salaries get quite nicenin the states. But I just wish it was easier to decide what system you want to live in rather than this cucked system of people essentially being stuck to the country they're born in
