How true is it that attraction grows over time? I'm struggling a lot between a girl who I have basically 100% emotional compatibility and emotional attraction with, but who isn't really physically my typical "body type" (even though I do find her cute), and an idealized partner I have in my mind who may or may not even exist. I've attracted pretty conventionally attractive women who just didn't do much for me emotionally.
