Why do die hard Christians always think it is God's will/plan when they do something stupid that kills someone.

For example, not allowing their children to get surgery to heal them and instead opting for "JeSuS wIlL hEaL mY kID!" and then they die. "Oh It WaS gOd'S pLaN tO tEsT uS!"
