In my area T420 with those specs, 1440p panel and upgrade kit would cost you more than that (and nobody is selling assembled units), but imo second gen intel is not worth it no matter how good the screen and keyboard are.
For reference $450 got me this X1 Titanium with i7-1180G and that's still considered overpriced.
