We have little evidence of that taking place. What we have evidence of, is seeing the id's of prominent Balmung Quicksands residents leaked here all over online, including here. It's far more likely that some loony troons that the dev upset by exposing how many alts some of them have, certain players having up to seven characters, caused a huge amount of drama, especially when their various activities were exposed and the plugin dev was facing being doxxed. I find this to be far more likely than the C&D letter that he never showed to anyone.
