It would be interesting if they revealed that Pokémon like Dodrio, Kangaskhan, Rhyhorn, Tauros, Scyther, Lapras, and Chansey aren't from Kanto, but were brought by Baoba during his safaris to different parts of the world.

It would also show how some of these evolve differently in their native region.
