Despite being around for the OG trilogy, it's kind of a tie between the ARC-170 and the Eta-2 Actis, for me.
I'm pretty sure the ARC-170 takes a lot of its design cues from the P-61 Black Widow. Nearly the same cockpit placement, same engine placement... Chop off the tail and replace the dorsal guns with a droid socket, and the P-61 becomes an ARC-170.
And we know how often Lucasfilm dipped into the WWII well for ideas.
