Yeah, I remember when that level of tinkering was normal for new games. Compatibility back in the day was horrible, weird directX versions where you had to install 8.6c first and than 8.6d because d was missing some shit for whatever reason and it wouldn't allow you to install the older version. If you go back it's even more retarded but I'm too young to have understood setting soundcard interrupts in DOS.

I stand by my statement. You had to drag out the shittiest ever 10 years late port of a wii game from a laughingstock franchise. I'm pretty sure it's not MS fault it's garbage.
