I might get hated for this, but have you tried the new Blender 4.4 interface? I heard it's actually pretty good it compresses those abominations into sections kind of like how Premiere Pro handles video tracks. Or, you could give Unreal Engine 5 a shot; I heard it has some solid animation tools. Best of luck, OP! I've been following this thread since the beginning and check in every week for updates.
