Arguably, those little details are more important in terms of defining a character than base model anatomical proportions (even though it's definitely important too).

1. What's your current status on this? Have you started making any shorts or are you still in a planning/prototyping phase?

2. You say you "can't afford to experiment". Why? Are you planning on pulling some kind of profit from this? If not then I'd really encourage experimenting. It could result in something great, or it could result in something that sucks, but it will probably be interesting in either case. Just chasing the trend risks making something boring. Not to say that you should throw out the whole femcel thing altogether, just try and put a twist on it.
