I always liked proto-Nightmare (I used to see him called "Evil Siegfried" in magazines of the era but I don't know if this name was official or not because I don't remember it being used in the game) from the first game. Shame this costume never appeared because the bone-ish armour is actually creepier to me than anything they even did with Nightmare.
