but yeah i hope i'm not alone in the emotions the final ending evoked for me. it's hard to say 'oh yeah binding of isaac is a great story' even though it is, just because so much of it is gameplay where the horrific elements of isaac's life are totally glossed over or for comedy. but man, the ending with him taking on the beast of the apocalypse represented as his mother in a spiritual battle, only for his father/God to come down and help him lift the burden he put upon himself, where he thinks he has to shoulder all the world's evil, freeing him from his traumas, was the perfect ending to me and i cri everytime
