It's funny because I JUST got done designing my own version.
It isn't a literal newton's cradle and is actually the object in picrel. Just made the comparison since it's like a similar physics desk toy.

>Gently asking for you to "give it a push" towards collecting the rest of its parts.
>Have to roam around both ends of the dark world collecting the rings that comprise it, during which it acts like a pseudo-party member.
>With each ring it gets bigger in size and can "assist" more. Keeps phrasing it like it's "giving you a push".
>All interaction is based on this phrasing. You give it a push, it can give you a push, just keep going.
>Finally give it the last ring and it goes full schizo mode.
>Abruptly turns heel. "FINALLY! NOW I DON'T NEED YOU!"
>"NO MORE PUSHING! I PUSH MYSELF! ONWARD! FOREVER!"
