(Rolled 5+1 for Int)
You ponder whether to ask about her v-card and whether she got pimped out or not, but you decide that is not exactly a topic for a first date. Not that this is a date.
“And if it were, you’d probably get an achievement for that,” said the stalker goddess in your head. There's no way you'll ever get used to that.
Still, something to consider when trying to grind XP, those achievements were the sole reason you gained a level so quickly.
Adjusting your non-existent glasses, smug grin on your face, you say “Let’s scout the village from afar. Perhaps we can devise a plan to raid his hut for those weapons, Remu-chan.”
“A-alright, if you say so Boss Dough.” The two of you grab the oversized stick and carry it on your way to her village. She carries her bucket on her other hand.
She says it’s not particularly far, and now that you’ve grown stronger, the burden of moving this thing around shouldn’t be so tiresome.
The walk there is uneventful, just trees, mosquitoes about the size of a head, a couple of green cockroaches straight out of Fallout just skittering about.
The critters steer clear of you, and you don’t bother them. Though you make a mental note to light a fire before going to bed should you ever sleep in the woods. You don’t want to get overrun by giant insects.
After a couple of minutes traversing the forest, Remu announces “We’re almost there, nobody should be patrolling around here now.” There’s a tinge of trepidation to her voice.
“Don’t worry, everything is going according to keikaku.” Instinctively, you pat her head. She doesn’t seem to hate it; her ears even perk up a little bit. Probably better than how she’s used to being treated.
As if on cue, you hear howling. Not distant but coming from right behind the two of you. Great, wolves. You turn to face your ambusher.
Ambushers plural. More wolves appear from the flanks. A pack of four trying to surround you, leisurely forming a circle to block you and Remu-chan from escaping.
>Wolf, Level 1 (4)
“Thanks system, I can tell,” you snap at the translucent window.
