11/10, it's pure audio-visual sex. You aspire to make gaming tracks that hit half as hard as these ones, you aspire to make intros half as sexy as that moon descent, you fucking wish you could make a game that feels like watching that stupid fucking tree die, and it never fucking stops hitting these notes. Off the charts. Actually insane. I can see why some of you retards who don't care about anything else can stop here and just say "best game". I can't.

6/10. inoffensive old game looks, but shit like hyrule field and the hylian lake is a massive nothingburger with nothing in it. Other zones do better but it's like you all forget how ass open world games with nothing in them are when you discuss OOT, despite it doing the same shit.

5/10, feels dated even within the series. Wind waker onward mogged its combat system by eg adding parries, weapon pickups, and better monsters to fight with, and people comparing it to eg dark souls are correct. It's exactly the same mechanics, we just got way better at using them over two decades.
The puzzles are fine, but they're dog simple. The only puzzles that gave me any trouble while 100%ing it blind was some push block bullshit in the water temple, one tough key in the water temple, scarecrow song locations (what a dogshit mechanic), a handful of rumble vibration hole things (again, what a dogshit mechanic), and one or two steps of either the sword or mask trading quest that aren't well signposted who actually wants shit. I'm fucking old, fuck games making me talk to every NPC in the game.
It still was fun, but not best ever. We've come so far on making good dungeon crawling, puzzle, sword combat, talking to people games. I just assume you haven't played many games after it if this is your best.
