I don't know either he said he was with his favorite tea kettle when he was summoned/washed up in Tokyo then the pot was there instead. Then the flashback I mentioned adds another layer to it.

Oh yeah in the prologue Kotaro mentioned The Wonderful Tea Kettle I read it and it said the kettle turned into a badger. I'm assuming the version I read changed it from Tanuki. But that also explains Shukaku being able to tightrope walk along with an umbrella.

I was waiting for it to happen since you mentioned it and when I seen it happen I was like there it is! Then when he was talking to Babalon in 4-2 I was taking notes and that's when it started auto advancing and that caught me off guard.

That's neat and all but I want confirmation to which is true in game!
Maybe in his SQ they may clear it up. Which I would read along with everyone else's but I didnt clear those at any point. I do have a couple of Bookmarks left but I only have 1000 Rainbow Shards so I'm torn what to use them on.
also just some things I didn't mention before
When you introduce Nomad to Goemon when you choose the 3rd option that says he's a detective and we're his assistant. Nomad gets mad and literally says the exact same thing.
And while I know I said I'd stop trying to make continuity work I cant help it. This event references Seaside Fashionista because the Yaksha mention seeing Suzuka wearing a swimsuit and wanting to be like her. Which SF references BOTB which that references SSummerschool and Halloween. Which those two events I still feel are canon to the Main Story Loop. But with Arc and Family being in this event then the other 2nd book events can't be Main Loop Canon. I know it's LW just refencing things to make their stories work but I can't help but try to make continuity connections.
