I already serve evil knowingly, while I feel regret there is no excuse and to maintain my lifestyle and fear of losing it I cooperate with the state. What bothers me more is that the Gods don't seem to care about what humanity does to each other. Demons are smart enough to stay out of the way. It feels like humanity is on it's own perhaps rightfully so.
