This is probably classified but if you look at the wikipedia of the gbu 57, it mentions that it contains "The warhead assembly contains 4,590 pounds (2,082 kg) of AFX-757 and 752 pounds (341 kg) of PBXN-114"
the smaller fraction of PBXN is probably used to drive a shaped charge in a similar manner as the stormshadow/scalp in bunker buster mode.
i asked chatgpt about copper shaped charge penetration on a theoretical 341kg PBXN shaped charge and it lines up roughly.
this bomb doesnt simply rely on freefall kinetic energy for penetration, it blasts a hole and then the warhead goes through that hole.
