i did a bit of that Duolingo to learn Irish (didn't get very far) and it's neat how it teaches you as if you were gradually picking up bits among Irish folk.

someone out there can speak fluent Japanese, at least phonetically, because of their cartoons. they have never read Genki or attended some class. godspeed, wapanese man.
