I do have that installed, not sure how to block it. I use yandex more often nowadays, https://searxng.ru/ also seems to be a good alternative.
Check this out, I dug out my old macbook with XP installed on it (for some reason google uses the older non-jeeted algorithm when you're on XP) and got the exact page I was looking for in 2 seconds. No targeted ads or ai garbage to be found. Super comfy but it's hard to use XP nowadays, too many sites are broken and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they change/remove it.
