please do not see us or think of us in some one dimensional manner; especially in a sexual focused way

though some enjoy that; it tends to be what gives your chaser ilk a bad reputation; we are full and complete and complicated human beings; likely even moreso than any cisnormatice person simply because we have had to undertake this great risk and challenge and keap of faith and desperation for the simple goal of being our true selves; though our reasons differ and vary; supposedly many straight girls transition simply to pursue straight men; but for most of us i think a universal truth is the simple need to be authentic; so please- be authentic to us

do not make us your dirty little secret you wont share to friends or family; we have a hard enough time with the powers of society desperately trying to erase and exterminate us- so please; let us find a sense of community and peace and family; keep us safe and stand up to those who would stand against our rights and needs

love deeply and freely and without constraints or conditions and do t run the other way and abandon us at the first sign of friction

most of us have been through atleast some traumatic mistreatment or abuse; so please dont add to that

we may not be able to give you a child but i believe most of us can give you a deep; visceral and real love that will surpass many "normal" people who are fickle and throw away good people far too readily

understand and be considerate of our needs and unique experience; and dont discard us just because we may have a mental issue or two; again- our most trusted people in our lives; our families & parents; routinely disown us or even harm us for being who we are and daring to defy their selfishness; be patient with us and be reliable and loving

if you can hold yourself to decency i believe you will find one of us could be the love of your life

treat us with the gravity we deserve
