it was apparently close to or actually full scale, I've heard rumors of it being used in the Gulf war, but I dont really buy it. The plane likely was never used for its intended purpose (surveillance), but it likely was extensively used for flight tests over both the pacific ocean and west coast of the US.
It could still be hanging around, languishing in some hangar, rotting from disuse. If it is really still around, it would likely see similar service to the SR-71.
